Who we are.

Skin Longevity is an aesthetic and wellness practice based in the United Kingdom. This privacy policy explains how we collect, store, and use your personal information when you visit our website or attend a consultation or treatment.

We are the data controller for all personal information collected through this website and our practice. You can contact us at hello@skinlongevity.co.uk with any privacy-related questions.

What we collect.

When you visit the website

We collect anonymous usage data through analytics (pages visited, device type, approximate location from IP address). This is used to understand which treatments people are most interested in. We do not track you across other websites.

When you book or enquire

  • Your name, date of birth, and contact details (phone, email)
  • Your address (for record-keeping and insurance purposes)
  • Medical history relevant to treatments (allergies, medications, prior procedures)
  • Photographs taken during consultation for treatment planning, with your consent
  • Payment information (processed by our payment provider — we do not store card details)

During treatment

We keep clinical notes on treatments provided, products used, batch numbers, dosages, and any concerns raised or observations made. This is required by our insurer and aligned with industry standards set by the JCCP.

Why we collect it.

  • To provide your treatment safely — medical history and consultation notes are essential for safe practice
  • To comply with legal and insurance obligations — we must retain clinical records for a minimum period required by law
  • To contact you about your appointments, follow-up care, and membership
  • To improve our service — anonymous usage data helps us understand what clients want

How long we keep it.

Clinical records are retained for a minimum of eight years after your last appointment, in line with UK medical record-keeping standards. Marketing contact data is retained only while you remain a client or explicitly consent. You can request earlier deletion where legally permissible.

Who we share it with.

We do not sell your data. We share minimum necessary information only with:

  • Our insurer, if required to manage a claim or complaint
  • Our prescribing practitioner, for prescription-only medicines
  • Our booking platform and payment processor, to manage appointments
  • Legal or regulatory authorities, where required by law

Your rights.

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to our legal retention obligations)
  • Object to marketing communications at any time
  • Complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@skinlongevity.co.uk. We respond within 30 days.

Cookies.

This website uses essential cookies to function and optional analytics cookies to understand site usage. You can accept or decline optional cookies via the banner shown on your first visit. You can change your preferences at any time by clearing your cookies and revisiting the site.

Photography and before/after images.

We may ask to take before/after photographs during treatment. These are stored securely and never shared publicly, on social media, or in marketing materials without your separate written consent. You may withdraw that consent at any time.

Changes to this policy.

We review this policy annually. Material changes will be notified to existing clients by email or at their next appointment.
